Conflict of Interest Policy
At TPX we are asked to look at a number of sites and from time to time we will be asked by a number of people to look at the same site. When this happens we will adopt the following policy:
Until a clear leading developer emerges we will endeavour to issue the same advice on the same site to every person or company looking at that site. When a clear developer emerges and we are formally instructed by that developer we will consider it a conflict of interest to advise others on that site as an active instruction will have been accepted at that point.
This policy is in accordance with the RTPI Ethics and Professional Standards Guidance
Taking on the work of other RTPI Members
At TPX we are asked to take on a piece of work that has been in the care of another RTPI member, In this instance the following policy will apply:
Until it is clear that the other RTPI member has been de-instructed we will not offer substantive advice that contradicts or degrades the effort of colleague members and will only accept instructions once we have ascertained that any other consultants involved are happy to hand over the case.
This policy is in accordance with the RTPI Ethics and Professional Standards Guidance
